Luma is an event platform that helps people host and find delightful events. We support incredible hosts like Alo Yoga, Substack, book clubs, and art galleries.

We started in 2020 to help a friend sell tickets to online Zoom yoga after she was laid off due to COVID. Since then our focus has shifted to in-person events and we are processing millions in transactions and supporting tens of thousands of event hosts.

While our product has expanded and grown, our team has remained small. We have a small team of engineers and designers based in NYC + remote. Everyone on the team cares tremendously about their craft.

Job Info

You'll translate app from English → your native language, understand how Luma works and use Luma to test the translations.

• The job will be part-time on an ongoing basis, available for minimum of 10 hours / week.
• You should be fluent in both English and the language you are translating to.
• We prefer if you use an iPhone as your main phone. We have an iOS app so it is much easier to work together if you can use that app.
• We're looking for someone who has used Luma before and is hosting events. ideally, you could become our Luma ambassador for your community and we can increase your pay and hours.

We are particularly interested in finding translators for:

• Japanese
• German
• Italian

Compensation is $20-30 / hour.
